Early voting period begins 22 days before a general primary, consolidated primary, consolidated, or general election and extends through the 5th day before election day

Permanent early voting polling places must remain open at least 8 hours on weekdays (including weekday holidays) and at least 6 hours on each weekend day except the final weekend

Permanent early voting polling places must remain open at least 14 hours total on the final weekend of the early voting period

Election authorities without a permanent polling place must provide early voting at their office during regular office hours plus at least 4 additional hours on the final weekend before any general primary or general election

The act takes effect upon becoming law
