State policemen who apply for retirement within 3 months after the Act's effective date to take a judicial position may purchase creditable service for time spent working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation

FBI service credit is only available if the applicant does not hold credit for that service in any other public employee pension fund or retirement system

Applications must be filed with the Board within 6 months after the Act's effective date, with evidence of eligibility and required payment

Payment required includes employee contributions based on salary on first day as State policeman, the employer's normal cost of accrued benefits, plus regular interest on both amounts

Total eligible creditable service established under this and related subsections cannot exceed 12 years
