IL HB4175

Amends the Criminal Code of 1961 to include uncles and aunts in the definition of "family member" for purposes of sexual offense statutes.

Adds uncle or aunt as a prohibited family relationship for sexual penetration when the nephew or niece was 18 years of age or over at the time of the act, regardless of legitimacy or adoption status.

Makes sexual relations within families involving an uncle or aunt a Class 3 felony.

Updates Section 12-12 definitions to explicitly include "uncle" and "aunt" in the definition of family member for sexual offense provisions.
