IL HB4323

Amends the School Construction Law to expand the definition of "school district" to include joint agreements, cooperatives, and vocational education delivery systems established under Section 10-22.20a of the School Code.

Establishes that joint agreements are eligible for school construction project grants and school maintenance project grants if one or more of their member school districts satisfy the grant index criteria.

Prohibits the use of grant index calculations for determining grant amounts to joint agreements; instead, grant amounts to eligible joint agreements shall be determined on a case-by-case basis based on the needs of the joint agreement in its entirety.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
