Appropriates $109,209,900 total to the Department of Agriculture for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009, consisting of $39,124,400 from General Funds, $55,587,600 from Other State Funds, and $14,497,900 from Federal Funds.

Funds major department operations including administrative services, computer services, agriculture regulation, marketing, animal industries, meat and poultry inspection, weights and measures, environmental programs, and land and water resources.

Appropriates $4,300,000 for Illinois State Fair operations and entertainment, plus $1,268,400 for DuQuoin State Fair operations.

Allocates $6,566,700 from the Agricultural Premium Fund and Fair and Exposition Fund for county fairs, state fair horse racing, 4-H clubs, and agricultural societies.

Effective July 1, 2009, with specific appropriations for specialized programs including feed control ($1,500,000), fertilizer research ($500,000), pesticide control ($4,400,000), and soil and water conservation district grants ($7,692,100).
