Amends Section 12-713 of the Illinois Vehicle Code to require every second division commercial vehicle (truck) used by construction contractors or subcontractors to display the company name on the vehicle side or trailer.

Company name must be displayed in letters at least 2 inches tall and one-half inch wide.

Exempts vehicles that display the insignia required under Section 18c-4701 of the Illinois Commercial Transportation Law.

Increases the penalty for violations from a maximum fine of $100 to a minimum fine of $500, classified as a petty offense.
