Creates the Deeds Effective on Death Act, establishing a new mechanism for conveying real property interests that take effect only upon the owner's death.

Allows a deed to transfer property to a designated grantee beneficiary effective upon the owner's death if the deed is executed and filed with the county recorder prior to the owner's death.

Eliminates the requirement that beneficiary deeds be supported by consideration or delivered to the grantee beneficiary during the owner's lifetime.

Permits beneficiary deeds to transfer property interests to trust estates regardless of whether the trust is revocable or irrevocable.

Preserves other existing methods of property conveyancing and does not invalidate deeds that are otherwise effective by law but recorded after the owner's death.
