Requires automatic fire sprinkler systems in all Greek housing structures (fraternities and sororities) that are tax-exempt under federal law and house primarily college students.

New Greek housing structures beginning construction on or after January 1, 2011 must include automatic fire sprinkler system installation.

Existing Greek housing structures constructed before January 1, 2011 must install automatic fire sprinkler systems by January 1, 2019.

Declares it unlawful to occupy a Greek housing structure that does not comply with sprinkler system requirements.

Enforcement responsibility falls to either the local unit of government or the institution of higher education with jurisdiction over the structure; more stringent local ordinances take precedence.
