• Extends voter registration grace period from 7 days before an election or primary to through the day of the election or primary in Illinois.

• Allows unregistered qualified electors to register and registered voters to change their address in person at election authority offices or designated registration locations during the extended grace period.

• Requires grace period voters to cast ballots at election authority offices or designated locations (or by mail at election authority discretion) rather than at precinct polling places, with ballots counted at central counting locations.

• Mandates election authorities transmit grace period voter information (name, address, precinct/ward/township/district numbers) to the State Board of Elections within one day, to be maintained in electronic format on the Board's website and accessible to political committees.

• Prohibits grace period voters from revoking their ballot to vote again for the same election or primary.
