HB5949 Summary

• Allows applicants to request that the Secretary of State issue a driver's license or Illinois Identification Card without displaying the street portion of their residence address.

• Cards issued without street addresses must still display, at minimum, the applicant's city, state, and zip code.

• Applies to both standard Illinois Identification Cards and Illinois Disabled Person Identification Cards.

• Effective immediately upon enactment.
