Appropriates $26,244,000 total for the Office of the State Fire Marshal for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010, consisting of $24,457,000 from Other State Funds and $1,787,000 from Federal Funds.

Allocates $15,623,200 from the Fire Prevention Fund for General Office expenses including personal services ($8,206,100), retirement contributions ($2,482,600), group insurance ($1,562,000), and electronic data processing ($1,055,900).

Allocates $3,180,100 from the Underground Storage Tank Fund for General Office operations including personal services ($1,651,300) and related administrative expenses.

Appropriates funds for training programs, grants to local fire departments and agencies, Illinois Firefighters' Memorial maintenance ($225,000), and specialized programs including underground storage tank compliance and fire prevention initiatives.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
