Appropriates $9,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Corrections for a grant to Operation Ceasefire.

Allocates $5,250,000 to 18 Chicago neighborhoods, including Austin, Englewood, and Little Village ($500,000 each), with remaining neighborhoods receiving $250,000 each.

Distributes $3,750,000 to municipalities outside Chicago, including Rockford, Maywood/Bellwood, Robbins/Harvey, and Blue Island ($500,000 each), with remaining cities receiving $250,000 each.

Effective date is July 1, 2010.
