• Requires the Department of Human Services or the Department of Healthcare and Family Services to mandate pay stubs covering at least a 30-day period from applicants and recipients of benefits under the Illinois Public Aid Code for income eligibility determination.

• Allows applicants with seasonal jobs or inconsistent pay stubs to have their employer complete a verification form for income instead of providing traditional pay stubs.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
