Prohibits labor organizations representing Illinois public employees from making campaign contributions to political committees established to support statewide candidates or statewide officeholders.

Prohibits political action committees affiliated with public employee labor organizations from making such campaign contributions to statewide candidates or officeholders.

Makes it unlawful for any candidate, political committee, or other person to knowingly accept contributions prohibited by this section.

Makes it unlawful for labor organization officers to consent to any prohibited contributions or expenditures.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
