HB6948 Summary

• Amends the Attorney General Act to require the Office of the Attorney General to post federal transparency reports on its website.

• Mandates posting of reports from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services containing summaries of information submitted by pharmaceutical manufacturers and group purchasing organizations under Section 6002 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

• Requires the report to be posted by September 30, 2013, and by June 30 of each calendar year thereafter, or as soon as possible after the State receives it, whichever is earlier.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
