Designates the portion of U.S. Route 50 extending east between Salem, Illinois and the Indiana border at Vincennes as the George Rogers Clark Memorial Highway.

Commemorates George Rogers Clark's 1779 military campaign in which he led approximately 170 men on an eighteen-day trek from Kaskaskia through flooded Illinois terrain to recapture Fort Sackville at Vincennes from British forces.

Recognizes Clark's military leadership in confounding British plans to attack the newly formed United States and preventing a two-front war for General George Washington during the American Revolution.

Requests the Illinois Department of Transportation to erect plaques or signs at suitable locations along the highway to identify it as the George Rogers Clark Memorial Highway.

Directs delivery of copies of the resolution to the U.S. Department of Transportation, Illinois Department of Transportation, and mayors of communities along the route including Lawrenceville, Bridgeport, Olney, Flora, and Salem.
