Requests the State Board of Education, Department of Human Services School Health Program, and Department of Public Health Division of Chronic Disease Prevention and Control establish a task force to study student health needs and services.

Task force shall identify current student health needs, determine required health services levels, identify regulatory conflicts limiting service delivery, and recommend support and monitoring for school health services.

Task force membership limited to 15 members appointed jointly by the three agencies, including one representative from each agency plus representatives from school administrators, school boards, nurses, health advocates, school health centers, physicians, teacher unions, and parents.

Illinois Department of Public Health shall provide administrative and other support to the task force.

Task force shall submit report to the General Assembly by January 1, 2010.
