Creates the Four-day School Week Task Force to study the feasibility of implementing a 4-day school week in Illinois school districts

Task Force consists of 17 members appointed by various education organizations and legislative leaders, including representatives from principals, administrators, teachers, school boards, transportation providers, athletic associations, and the State Superintendent of Education

Members serve without compensation but receive reimbursement for reasonable and necessary expenses

Task Force shall hold public hearings and receive staff assistance from the State Board of Education

Task Force must report findings and recommendations to the House and Senate by January 1, 2010, after which it is dissolved
