Designates March 25, 2010, as the official date for the remustering of the 10th Illinois Volunteer Cavalry Regiment in the State of Illinois

Recognizes the original 10th Illinois Volunteer Cavalry Regiment formed by Presidential Proclamation by President Abraham Lincoln in September 1861

Notes the regiment served from November 25, 1861, to November 22, 1865, with approximately 2,152 men and suffered 290 total casualties including 25 mortally wounded and 265 deaths from disease, accidents, and imprisonment

Acknowledges the regiment was reborn in October 1984 and conducts historical reenactments to educate the public about mid-19th century life

Urges Illinois citizens to educate themselves on the historical importance and continued contributions of the 10th Illinois Volunteer Cavalry
