Supports the re-establishment of the Conservation Congress to assist in the protection, conservation, education, and appropriate use of Illinois' natural, recreational, and cultural resources

Encourages the Illinois Department of Natural Resources to convene the Conservation Congress within the constraints of the Department's monetary and personnel resources

Recognizes the Conservation Congress's role in proposing actions by elected and appointed officials to protect state natural resources and ensure recreational opportunities remain available for current and future generations

Directs that a copy of the resolution be delivered to the Director of Natural Resources and the Governor of Illinois
