Illinois House of Representatives mourns the death of Oscar D. "O.D." Troutman of Metropolis, who died on January 11, 2010.

Troutman graduated from Metropolis Community High School in 1943, was married on September 10, 1951, and served as a World War II veteran in the Army Air Corps.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Doris Jean Troutman, two children, four siblings, four grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters.

A suitable copy of the resolution shall be presented to the Troutman family as a symbol of the House's sincere sympathy.
