Congratulates Wisconsin State Representative Annette Polly Williams on her retirement from the Wisconsin State Legislature.

Recognizes Williams as the longest serving woman in Wisconsin State Legislature history and the first Democratic legislator appointed as committee chair by a Republican-controlled legislature.

Notes Williams' service on multiple committees including Women and Minorities, Commerce and Community Affairs, Education, Consumer Affairs, and Financial Institutions, and her chairmanship of several Assembly committees.

Acknowledges Williams' numerous awards including the National Black Caucus of State Legislators Presidents Award (1990), University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Lifetime Achievement Award (1998), and Milwaukee Times Black Excellence Award (2001).

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Williams as a symbol of respect and esteem.
