Congratulates Ian Seivwright on his retirement as Deputy Chief of the Western Springs Fire Department after 50 years of dedicated service.

Recognizes Seivwright's lifetime residency in Western Springs and his service beginning as a student at McClure Junior High School, where he would leave class to respond to fire department calls.

Acknowledges his military service as an officer in the United States Navy during the late 1960s and early 1970s with the Pacific fleet, and his subsequent career as director of security operations at People's Gas Company.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Seivwright as a symbol of esteem and respect.
