Designates the segment of U.S. Route 20 crossing Illinois as the "Highway of Fallen Heroes" to honor military personnel who have died in service.

U.S. Route 20 is the longest road in the United States at over 3,300 miles, stretching from Boston, Massachusetts to Newport, Oregon, with 12 states along its route.

Requests the Illinois Department of Transportation to erect signs displaying the "Highway of Fallen Heroes" ceremonial designation consistent with state and federal regulations.

Encourages the other 11 states along U.S. Route 20 to adopt similar designations to support veterans groups and active military personnel.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to the Secretary of Transportation and Illinois chapters of eight veterans organizations including the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, and Vietnam Veterans of America.
