Congratulates the Troy Middle School Trojans baseball team on winning the Illinois Elementary School Association Class 3A State championship with a 19-11 victory over Greenville.

Team finished the season with a 15-4 record after defeating Mahomet-Seymour in the quarterfinals and Mt. Zion in the semifinals.

Championship game set 12 IESA Class 3A records including most runs by winning team (19), most combined runs by both teams (30), most hits in championship game (21), and most RBIs in championship game (19).

Lists 18 team members including Kenny Walsh, Cody Grosse, Rob Talarico, Griffin McGuire, Jake Suca, Jack Turk, and others, plus coaches Tom Knapczyk, Mike Tonelli, and Jeremy Poch.

Directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to the Troy Middle School Trojans as a symbol of esteem and respect.
