Congratulates Michelle Bednarz on receiving the Charles E. Piper Award for business and community achievement from the Berwyn Development Corporation on November 6, 2010.

Recognizes Bednarz as Assistant Vice President and Public Relations Officer for Central Federal Savings and Loan and newly named Branch Manager for the LaGrange Park location.

Notes her leadership roles including membership on the Cermak Road Business Association (since 1976), service as treasurer, vice-president, and president of the Cicero Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Board of Directors membership with the Berwyn Development Corporation.

Acknowledges her community involvement with the Community Chest of Cicero, Rotary Club, Berwyn/Cicero Vietnow, Morton College Business/Accounting Advisory Committee, and chairing the Relay for Life survivor dinner from 2004 to 2008.

Directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to Bednarz as a symbol of the House's respect and esteem.
