Illinois House of Representatives congratulates Ronald Starman, Jeff Johnson, and Merlyn Winchell for receiving the Lifesaver Award from the Missouri Department of Corrections.

The three recipients were honored for their diligent and superb conduct in responding to life-threatening situations involving offenders at the Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green, Missouri.

The Lifesaver Award is presented by the Missouri Department of Corrections to staff members who intervene in serious situations to save a person's life.

The House recognizes the three award recipients as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of Illinois.
