Recognizes her selection as one of only 5 principals representing private and parochial schools internationally in the 2010 class of National Distinguished Principals from the National Association of Elementary School Principals

Honors her 25+ years of service as a Catholic school leader, including creation of the school's preschool program, hands-on science laboratory, automated library system, and upgrades to instructional technology

Notes she earned a bachelor's degree from St. Ambrose College in Iowa and a master's degree from the University of Illinois

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Sister M. Joan Sorge as a symbol of esteem and respect
