Congratulates the Mount Carmel High School Golf Team on winning the IHSA Class 1A State Golf Championship.

Team scored 620 combined over 36 holes at Prairie Vista Golf Course in Bloomington, defeating Effingham St. Anthony by 5 strokes.

Marks the school's first State championship victory since the football team won in 1981.

Team members are Tucker Guisewite, Wade Thompson, Grant Williams, David Schroeder, Christian Seaton, and Chase Witsman, coached by John White.

Directs presentation of a resolution copy to coach John White as a symbol of esteem and respect.
