Illinois House of Representatives congratulates Wheaton Warrenville South High School Tigers football team on winning the IHSA Class 7A State Tournament.

Tigers defeated Lake Zurich 28-17 in the championship game and finished the season with a perfect 14-0 record.

Victory marks the team's 7th state title in 10 championship game appearances and their second consecutive back-to-back state titles in program history.

Team roster includes 100+ players with captains Reilly O'Toole, Caleb Bednarz, Matt Rogers, and Sparty Chino; head coach Ron Muhitch and 14 assistant coaches.

A suitable copy of the resolution will be presented to head coach Ron Muhitch as a symbol of the House's esteem and respect.
