Congratulates the Lyons Township High School Lions girls volleyball team on winning the IHSA Class 4A State Tournament.

Lions defeated Cary-Grove 25-23, 19-25, 25-23 at Illinois State's Redbird Arena and finished the season with a 41-1 record.

Names 15 team members including Liz O'Malley, Megan Miller, Sara Bres, Kaley Babich, and others, with head coach Joann Pyritz and four assistant coaches.

Recognizes the team members as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the State of Illinois.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to head coach Joann Pyritz as a symbol of esteem and respect.
