Bill Morris of West Frankfort died on October 17, 2010, at age 83.

Served in the United States Navy and was a member of American Legion Post 1961 of Orient.

Retired after many years as a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service.

Actively served on multiple local boards including Frankfort Unit District 168 School Board, Franklin County Sheriff's Department Merit Board, Franklin County Board, and Denning Cemetery Board.

Survived by his son Greg, daughters Terri and Cindy Jo, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and sister Barbara Benns.
