Amends Illinois Criminal Code to add "dwelling" as an exemption to unlawful weapons charges under Section 24-1(a)(4) and 24-1(a)(10), allowing lawful possession of pistols, revolvers, stun guns, tasers, and other firearms in one's dwelling.

Adds identical "dwelling" exemption to aggravated unlawful use of weapons statute (Section 24-1.6) for carrying or possessing firearms in one's dwelling.

Creates new exemption in Section 24-2(b)(5) explicitly allowing carrying or possessing any pistol, revolver, stun gun, taser, or other firearm in one's dwelling.

Becomes effective immediately upon enactment.
