IL SB1797

Deletes "recapture provisions" from the Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975 that would have allowed wagering facilities to receive payments from purse accounts when total Illinois pari-mutuel handle falls below 75% of 1994 levels.

Removes Section 26(g)(13) which established a mechanism for the Board to certify and distribute compensatory payments to eligible wagering facilities experiencing handle declines.

Makes the deletion effective immediately upon enactment.

Affects the allocation of pari-mutuel wagering revenue and purse account funding for Illinois horse racing operations.
