IL SB2166

Amends the Riverboat Gambling Act to allow owners licensees to reduce their privilege tax obligation by the amount spent on marketing to attract out-of-state customers, effective upon the bill becoming law.

Creates new subsection (a-20) that permits the deduction of out-of-state marketing expenses from the privilege tax owed to the State Gaming Fund.

Applies to all riverboat gambling operations conducted by licensed owners, excluding operations conducted by licensed managers on behalf of the State.
