• Appropriates $1.524 billion total for Department of Revenue ordinary and contingent expenses for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009, comprised of $153.8 million in General Funds, $1.024 billion in Other State Funds, and $346 million in Federal Funds.

• Provides funding for government services including county assessor salaries ($2.825 million), state's attorneys' salaries ($14.5 million), public defenders' salaries ($6.5 million), and sheriffs' and coroners' stipends ($663,000 each).

• Allocates $379.2 million for lottery operations, $119.1 million for Illinois Gaming Board operations including $100 million for local government distributions, and $6.9 million for Liquor Control Commission expenses.

• Appropriates $96 million from Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit Gap HOME Investment Fund and $250 million from Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit Exchange Fund for affordable housing development through Illinois Housing Development Authority.
