• Appropriates $2,456,989,934 total for the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009, comprised of $55,217,300 in General Funds, $253,850,734 in Other State Funds, and $2,147,921,900 in Federal Funds.

• Funds operational and administrative expenses across multiple DCEO bureaus including General Administration, Bureau of Tourism, Bureau of Workforce Development, Bureau of Technology and Industrial Competitiveness, Bureau of Regional Economic Development, Bureau of Business Development, and Bureau of Community Development.

• Allocates significant federal funds for workforce training programs, including $275,000,000 for Workforce Investment Act programs and $160,000,000 under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
