Appropriates $217,653,700 from the General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University for ordinary and contingent expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010, including $192,662,100 for personal services, $12,625,700 for contractual services, and amounts for insurance, travel, equipment, and telecommunications.

Appropriates $2,500,000 from the General Professions Dedicated Fund for development, support, and administration of pharmacy practice education or training programs at the Edwardsville campus.

Appropriates $15,663,300 from the General Revenue Fund pursuant to Title XIV of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 for personal services.

Appropriates $2,321,400 from the General Revenue Fund pursuant to Title XIV (Other Government Services) of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 for personal services.

Takes effect on July 1, 2009.
