Appropriates $1,056,750 total for the State Police Merit Board's ordinary and contingent expenses for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009.

Appropriates $639,900 from the General Revenue Fund, including $409,900 for personal services, $46,600 for state retirement contributions, and $31,400 for social security contributions.

Appropriates $416,850 from the State Police Whistleblower Reward and Protection Fund designated for contractual services.

General Revenue Fund allocation covers additional expenses including travel ($10,000), commodities ($6,000), printing ($6,000), electronic data processing ($9,000), telecommunications ($12,000), and automotive equipment operation ($6,000).

Legislation takes effect July 1, 2009.
