Appropriates $744,300 from the General Revenue Fund to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commission for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009, including $459,000 for personal services, $52,100 for state retirement contributions, and various operational expenses.

Appropriates $135,000 from the Interpreters for the Deaf Fund to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commission for administration and enforcement of the Interpreter for the Deaf Licensure Act of 2007.

Total appropriation to the commission is $879,300 for ordinary and contingent expenses.

Takes effect July 1, 2009.
