Appropriates $1,717,665 from the General Revenue Fund to the Court of Claims for ordinary and contingent expenses including personal services ($1,178,354), retirement contributions, travel, and equipment.

Appropriates $325,000 from the Court of Claims Administration and Grant Fund for administrative expenses under the Crime Victims Compensation Act.

Appropriates $500,000 from the General Revenue Fund for payment of awards resulting from lapsed appropriations.

Appropriates $13,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund for payment of line of duty awards.

Appropriates $39,775,000 total for payment of claims, including $27,000,000 for Crime Victims Compensation Act claims and $12,775,000 for other claims from multiple state funds.

Takes effect July 1, 2009.
