• Appropriates $236,638,400 from the General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University for fiscal year ending June 30, 2010, including personal services ($210,685,500), social security and Medicare ($2,343,400), group insurance ($3,662,100), contractual services ($13,625,700), and other operating expenses.

• Appropriates $2,500,000 from the General Professions Dedicated Fund for pharmacy practice education and training programs at the Edwardsville campus.

• Appropriates $200,000 from the General Revenue Fund for the Special Services (TRIO) program to improve matriculation, retention, and completion rates of minority students at Edwardsville and Carbondale campuses.

• Appropriates $1,070,000 from the General Revenue Fund for the Presidential Scholarship Fund.

• Appropriates $157,841,492 from the Illinois Jobs Now Fund for capital projects including a Science Laboratory at Edwardsville ($78,867,300), Transportation Education Center at Carbondale ($56,718,792), Communications Building planning at Carbondale ($4,255,400), Morris Library renovation ($17,564,400), and miscellaneous capital improvements ($7,011,300).
