SB2503 Summary

• Removes requirement that voters be informed when their ballot is rejected or identified as undervoted for statewide constitutional offices

• Eliminates voter right to return to voting booth and complete an undervoted ballot or request a replacement ballot after rejection

• Modifies voting defect identification requirements for automatic tabulating equipment to identify only over-votes, not under-votes

• Applies changes to multiple voting systems including precinct tabulation optical scan technology, electronic voting systems, and voting machines

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
