Licensees disciplined by the Division of Professional Regulation for offenses related to tax payment failure, child support, student loans, continuing education, or advertising may petition to remove those records from the Department's public website for a $200 fee.

Petitions are only eligible if submitted at least 10 years after the offense, the licensee has no subsequent discipline, there are no pending investigations, and the licensee is not currently in disciplinary status.

The Director of the Division of Professional Regulation reviews and decides petitions; the Department may establish additional requirements by rule and is not required to report removals to national databases.

Removal from the website does not vacate or expunge the offense from the licensee's internal disciplinary record, and the Department may still use prior discipline for regulatory purposes or release records upon request from law enforcement, government bodies, or the public.

The Act is effective immediately upon becoming law.
