IL SB2925

Establishes a pilot program for the 2010 General Election requiring election authorities to provide grace period registration, grace period voting, and early voting at a central, high student traffic location on each public university campus within their jurisdiction.

Defines "public university" to include University of Illinois, Southern Illinois University, Chicago State University, Eastern Illinois University, Governors State University, Illinois State University, Northeastern Illinois University, Northern Illinois University, and Western Illinois University.

Makes registration and voting available to all qualified residents and voters of the election jurisdiction, including students, staff members, and faculty members of the host campus, regardless of early voting polling place designations.

Limits registration and voting activities on campus to regular business hours of the host university and requires each public university to provide space in a central location and cooperate with the appropriate election authority.

Requires election authorities to report to the State Board of Elections by March 1, 2011, on the total number of individuals using the campus registration and voting sites and how the services were conducted.
