IL SB3045

Amends the State Comptroller Act to increase the imprest account transfer limit for the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy from $15,000 to $100,000.

Authorizes the Comptroller to provide periodic transfers to various state institutions and departments under an imprest system with State Treasurer approval, subject to specified limits and controls.

Establishes transfer limits including $200,000 per campus for public universities, $200,000 per department per overseas office for Agriculture and Commerce departments, and $250,000 annually for Department of Natural Resources World Shooting and Recreational Complex operations.

Requires the Comptroller to promulgate rules and regulations for implementing imprest account transfers, with any rules requiring State Treasurer approval needing Treasurer consent for modification or repeal.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
