Department of Corrections must establish uniform procedures by January 1, 2011 for notifying interested parties (victims, law enforcement, prosecutors, and Prisoner Review Board) of projected early releases due to good conduct credits for meritorious service.

Interested parties may submit comments in writing or electronically regarding inmate early releases, and the Department must include any submitted comments in the inmate's record.

Department of Corrections must provide information to licensed facilities within 3 days when a paroled or mandatory supervised release person becomes a resident, including mittimus, pre-sentence reports, disciplinary records, and parole plan details.

Department must notify the Prisoner Review Board, local police chiefs, and sheriffs within 3 days when a paroled or mandatory supervised release person becomes a resident of a licensed or regulated facility.

Bill takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
