Honors CommunityHealth, a free medical clinic founded in 1993 in Chicago that serves uninsured and underinsured individuals and families.

CommunityHealth has provided over 170,000 medical and education visits to more than 30,000 uninsured patients since its founding and currently serves more than 7,000 patients annually.

Operates a clinic six days a week with over 650 volunteers, including 285 physicians from Chicago's leading health institutions, and donated over 42,000 volunteer hours in 2008.

Directs the Department of Public Health to identify public-private collaborative opportunities with CommunityHealth and issue a report to the Governor and General Assembly by January 2, 2010.

Recognizes CommunityHealth as the largest volunteer-staffed free medical facility in Illinois and acknowledges its fifteen years of dedicated service to the uninsured.
