Designates September 11, 2009 as "Tee it Up for the Troops Day" in Illinois to honor armed forces members serving overseas.

Recognizes Tee it Up for the Troops as a non-profit organization established in 2005 that has raised over $1,000,000 for military family support programs since its founding.

Acknowledges the organization's contributions including scholarships, transportation, clothing, lodging, and sports activities, plus over 40,000 golf balls and equipment sent to troops overseas.

Recognizes the First Annual Tee it Up for the Troops Central Illinois Golf Classic scheduled for August 31, 2009, which will support the Wounded Warrior Project, Central Illinois military families facing financial hardship, and establish 10 scholarships for children of financially challenged veterans.

Directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to Tee it Up for the Troops, Inc. as a symbol of the Senate's esteem and respect.
