Richard "Dick" Hufford of Northport, Michigan, passed away on May 26, 2010; he was born April 1, 1927, in Hammond, Indiana.

Served in the United States Army during World War II and worked for General Motors in Willow Springs and Kalamazoo, Michigan for 37 years.

Served as a trustee of the Lighthouse Museum, organized the Annual Woolsey Memorial Airport Pancake Breakfast and Fly-In, and served as an elected Supervisor of Leelanau County.

Survived by his wife Bernadette (married January 27, 1951), six children, one sister, one brother, 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Illinois Senate mourns his passing and will present a suitable copy of this resolution to his family as a symbol of sympathy.
